Our Experience & Tips
After taking the JISULIFE Ultra2 to an outdoor theme park in the middle of summer, a few things stood out immediately. First, the 100 speed levels sound like overkill on paper, but in practice, it is amazing. You can dial it down to a barely-there breeze that keeps you cool without blowing your hair in your face, or crank it up to a turbo blast that will dry a sweaty shirt in minutes. Second, the metal casing gets surprisingly cold to the touch when the fan is running on high, which actually feels refreshing if you hold it against your wrist or neck. However, our biggest tip is to turn off the digital display when you are not actively adjusting the speed. While it looks cool, the bright screen drains the battery slightly faster.
Compared to those cheap plastic clip-on fans, this is a premium piece of hardware. We used it as a power bank to revive a dying iPhone, and it charged it from 10% to 60% while still running the fan on a low speed—that 9000mAh battery is no joke. The built-in LED flashlight also came in handy walking back to the car in the dark. It does have some weight to it because of the massive battery and metal shell, but it easily fits into a standard backpack side pocket or a medium-sized purse.
What to Consider Before Buying
Before you buy, think about how you plan to carry it. This is not a tiny, featherweight fan that will disappear in your pocket. It is roughly the size of a large smartphone but noticeably heavier.
